All high school students are welcome to attend U.S. Representative Steve Womack's Academy Day 2026 event planned for Saturday, April 4th from 1 pm - 3pm at FHS. This event is designed to provide insight into the selection of academic courses and extra-curricular activities to become competitive for the U.S. Service Academy requirements. Army ROTC programs from the University of Arkansas and University of Arkansas-Fort Smith as well as the Air Force ROTC program from the University of Arkansas have been invitetd to attend along with the Arkansas National Guard.
