At their April 24 meeting, the Fayetteville Board of Education voted unanimously to approve the hiring of Korillene Flanigan as a new assistant principal at Ramay Jr. High, beginning with the 2025-2026 school year.
“I am pleased to welcome Ms. Flanigan to our district, “said superintendent Dr. John Mulford. ““She brings valuable experience and expertise, and I’m confident she will be a strong addition to our leadership team.”
Ms. Flanigan currently serves as an assistant principal in the 8 Connect ALE program in Springdale Public Schools. She has also served as assistant principal, school counselor, school improvement specialist, and equity coordinator in the Jonesboro, Blytheville, and Ashdown Public Schools. She has also served as an adjunct professor at Arkansas State University. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies and a master’s degree in School Counseling from Texas A&M-Texarkana, a master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Harding University, and her educational specialist degree from Arkansas State University. She is currently pursuing a doctorate degree from Arkansas Tech University in Educational Leadership.
