Hello ALLPS Students and Families!

Welcome to the **2026–2027 school year at ALLPS School of Innovation!** 💜🐾

We are excited to have you with us this year. ALLPS is a unique school environment, and we want to make sure our students and families have the information and resources they need to have a successful school year.

Whether you are new to ALLPS or returning for another year, please take a few minutes to review the information below and save this email for future reference.

### 📚 WANT TO KNOW HOW YOUR STUDENT IS DOING?

One of the most important things you can do as a parent/guardian is stay connected to your student's progress.

Make sure you know how to:

* Check your student's **grades and assignments**
* Monitor **attendance**
* Communicate directly with your student's teachers
* Know your student's daily schedule
* Stay informed about upcoming school events and important dates
* Contact the front office when you have questions or concerns

If you are unsure how to access your student's information or need help getting connected, please contact the ALLPS front office. We are happy to help!

### 📅 ATTENDANCE MATTERS!

Attendance is extremely important at ALLPS. Students are expected to attend their scheduled classes and arrive on time.

Parents/guardians should regularly check their student's attendance and communicate with the school when there is an absence or an issue that may affect attendance.

Please do not hesitate to contact the front office if you have questions about attendance, absences, or attendance procedures.

### 📱 STAY CONNECTED WITH ALLPS

We use several methods to communicate important information to our students and families. Please make sure your contact information is current with the school.

Watch for:

* School announcements
* Parent emails and messages
* Important dates and deadlines
* Attendance notifications
* School events
* Schedule updates
* Information from your student's teachers

**If you are not receiving school communications, please contact the front office so we can make sure we have the correct phone number and email address on file.**

### 👩‍🏫 KNOW YOUR STUDENT'S TEACHERS

Questions about a specific class, assignment, grade, or classroom expectation should be directed to your student's teacher.

Your student's teachers are your best resource for information about what is happening in a specific class. If you need a teacher's email address or are unsure who to contact, the front office can help point you in the right direction.

### 🏫 KNOW YOUR SCHOOL

**ALLPS School of Innovation**
2350 Old Farmington Road
Fayetteville, AR

Our front office is here to help students and families navigate the school year. If you are unsure who to contact or where to start, **start with us!**

We can help connect you with the appropriate teacher, administrator, counselor, or department.

### 💜 A FEW IMPORTANT REMINDERS

Please make sure your student:

* Knows their daily schedule
* Knows where their classes are located
* Arrives on time and attends all scheduled classes
* Checks school communications regularly
* Communicates with teachers when they need help
* Takes responsibility for assignments and deadlines
* Follows ALLPS expectations and procedures
* Asks questions when they are unsure about something

And parents, please remember: **You do not have to figure everything out alone.** If you have a question, concern, or simply aren't sure who to contact, reach out to the front office. We would rather help you find an answer than have you trying to navigate the ALLPS maze by yourself. 😊

### 🎉 JOIN US FOR BACK-TO-SCHOOL NIGHT!

We would also love to see our families at **ALLPS Back-to-School Night!**

📅 **Thursday, September 3, 2026**
⏰ **4:00–6:00 PM**
📍 **ALLPS School of Innovation**

Come meet teachers and staff, tour the campus, and enjoy BBQ sliders, beans, tea, lemonade, chips, and cookies!

We are looking forward to an amazing **2026–2027 school year** and are excited to partner with our students and families.

**Welcome to ALLPS! 💜🐾**

Students in Outdoor Education at ALLPS recently traveled to Clear Creek in Johnson for a hands on learning experience focused on environmental science and responsibility. 🌿💧
During the trip, students used water sampling kits to test the creek for nitrate and phosphate levels, helping them better understand water quality and ecosystem health. They also studied macroinvertebrates, which can provide important clues about the overall condition of a stream.
In addition to collecting data, students took part in creek cleanup efforts, combining science, service, and outdoor learning in a meaningful way. What a great opportunity to connect classroom learning to the natural world! 💜

Ms. Krementz’s science students at ALLPS experimented with milk and food coloring, watching a burst of color appear when dish soap was added!

Through this activity, students learned how to write lab reports, identify dependent and independent variables, and understand why changing only one variable at a time is key to a fair test. Experiments bring learning to life!
