Fayetteville Public Schools’ annual District Art Show is now on display at the Fayetteville Public Library! We loved seeing students and families enjoying the artwork together at the reception, featuring over 140 pieces from Kindergarten through 12th grade.
The exhibit highlights the incredible talent of our students and the inspiring work happening in our Visual Arts classrooms across the district. You can view the collection in the McIlroy Hallway near the Event Center until April 6th.
Be sure to stop by and celebrate the creativity and talent of our amazing young artists! 💜

We had a great turnout at the Safe Routes to School Open House last night at Woodland Junior High School! Representatives from Fayetteville Public Schools, the City of Fayetteville Arkansas Government, and Toole Design Group were on hand to answer questions and gather community feedback on the draft plans. Supported by the Northwest Arkansas Regional Planning Commission, this marks the first Safe Routes to School Plan in our region.
Families enjoyed activities for students, food, and opportunities for meaningful conversations about how we can make getting to school safer and more accessible for everyone.
Thank you to everyone who joined us and shared their input!

It’s School Resource Officer Day! SRO’s play an important part in our schools by not only promoting safety, but by bridging the gaps between law enforcement and our youth.
SROs are carefully selected, specifically trained, sworn law enforcement officers assigned to work with schools using community-oriented policing concepts.
We appreciate ALL of our school resource officers and their dedication to the students and staff of Fayetteville Public Schools!

Last night’s annual Ramay/Woodland basketball game at Bulldog Arena served as more than just a cross-town rivalry! Junior high students had the opportunity to shadow Fayetteville High School Sports Broadcasting and Film classes, gaining valuable insight into the elective pathways and hands-on opportunities available to them as they transition to high school.

Today, eighth grade students from Ramay Junior High and Woodland Junior High School attended the annual Bulldog Bash at Fayetteville High School! This special tradition welcomes our rising ninth graders with a performance from the FHS Band and a guided tour of the campus.
It was a great opportunity for students to get a feel for high school life and begin their journey as future Bulldogs. We can’t wait to see all they accomplish at FHS! ❤️💙💜

On Thursday, some of our 8th grade Computer Science / Programming students attended the Arkansas Dept of Ed - CS for AR - Cybersecurity Capture the Flag Competition.
These students competed against 38 teams from across Northwest Arkansas, and came in 12th overall. This is a great result since they only have 2 days of prep, and went up against 11th and 12th grade cybersecurity students, so a big shout out to them!
