Please mark your calendars for ACT Aspire testing on April 6th, 7th, and 8th. ALL students are being asked to come to school by 8:25 those three days regardless of their normal schedule. Students will be in small groups of no more than 23 students appropriately spaced in the classroom with all participants wearing masks. Students will need to bring their school-issued CHARGED chromebook and an “allowable” calculator (if they have one). Virtual Families: Virtual students will be grouped separately & remain in one wing of the building unless they have special accommodations. All Virtual Students need to check their chromebooks. Please have your student complete this survey before April 2nd. We are also asking that all VIRTUAL students arrive at Woodland at 8:15 on testing days so we can ensure their technology is working. On April 6th & 8th, your student should be done around 11:30. They can text you when they are finished. On April 7th, our seventh graders will be done around 10:00, but our 8th graders will be screened by the nurse and should be done by 12:00. Parents of 8th grade Virtual students: On Wednesday, April 7 the nurse will screen 8th grade virtual students for vision and hearing immediately following the testing time. The screenings only take a few minutes to complete. Thank you for your cooperation. The approximate pick-up time will be around 12:00 that day, but your student will text you when they are done with testing & their screening. Nurse Kristen Please email laura.venters@fayar.net with any questions or concerns regarding testing. Please remember we are following the state guidelines and must account for all students at Woodland. District Parent Letter.
